CONSOLIDATIONS

BECOMING ONE

A Consolidation is the opposite process of a Subdivision. It involves combining two or more lots into one parcel of land, and hence, one Title. In order to do so, again as with a Subdivision, either a Deposited Plan, Strata Plan or Community Plan must be prepared by a Registered Surveyor for lodgement to the NSW Land Registry Services (NSW LRS).

The Process
  1. Discuss purpose and scope of Consolidation to determine cost estimate
  2. Conduct calculations to redefine boundaries
  3. Prepare Deposited Plan for Consolidation
  4. Create easements and restrictions (if necessary)
  5. Lodge above documents to Local Council, Bank & NSW LRS for registration
